Information for university students

You will have the opportunity to:

  • be involved in an evidence based, peer-led program to improve self-management of asthma and prevent smoking in high school students
  • contribute to improving the health of high school students in particular disadvantaged communities
  • learn skills for educating young people about asthma
  • put your new educational skills into practice through training high school students
  • have fun and gain credit at the same time.

You will be required to:

  • attend one-day training workshops, focused on working with adolescents and asthma management
  • co-lead a one-day Triple A peer leader training workshop for high school students
